Daniela Mardarovici to Join Macquarie Investment Management’s Global Fixed Income Team as Co-Head of Multisector/Core Plus Fixed Income

Paul Grillo, lead portfolio manager for the firm’s US Core Plus Fixed
Income strategy, to retire

PHILADELPHIA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Macquarie Investment Management today announced that Daniela
Mardarovici, CFA, is joining the firm’s global fixed income team as
co-head of Multisector/Core Plus Fixed Income on March 18, 2019.

Based in Philadelphia, Mardarovici will report to David Hillmeyer, head
of Multisector/Global Fixed Income for Macquarie Investment Management
Americas. The firm’s multisector strategies leverage capabilities across
the entire organization, with more than 100 global fixed income
investment professionals in London, New York, Philadelphia, and Sydney,

“Multisector strategies are central to a solutions-based approach to
serving the evolving needs of our clients,” Hillmeyer said. “Daniela

more than a decade leading fixed income business development strategy.
She has a strong investment track record, and we’re delighted that she’s
joining the firm as we continue to enhance our fixed income solutions.”

Mardarovici, and the entire fixed income team to ensure a smooth
transition. There will be no changes to the team’s style, philosophy, or
investment process.

“Daniela and David co-leading the US Core Plus strategy is part of a
thoughtful succession plan and a natural transition for the team,” said
Brett Lewthwaite, global co-head of fixed income. “Paul has always put
the needs of our clients first. We are grateful for his efforts over
many years and wish him all the best in his retirement.”
